The Albion Backer Rod Insertion Tools quickly and accurately set polythylene foam backer rods in expansion and control joints. Handle is threaded to accept the tamping blade or a standard extension pole.
Features:
- tool is adjustable for placing rod at any desired depth up to 1″ deep without puncturing.
- #640-3 set includes a standard tool #640-5 with 4 depth setting wheels for 1/8″, 1/4″, 3/8″ and 1/2″ wide joints plus a #640-6 corner model (for cove joints) with four depth setting wheels for 1/8″, 1/4″, 3/8″ and 1/2″ wide joints.
- Smooth plastic wheels ensure no puncturing of the rod skin
