Background:
Hayman Construction was retained to build a new sewage treatment plant in Tillsonburg, Ontario with concrete supplied by Lafarge Ready Mix. This new plant had to be completely sound and sealed for there to be no chance of toxic run off escaping.
Product(s)/Solutions Provided:
With the required specified product for the job not being available in Canada, both Hayman and Lafarge reached out to Form & Build to see what could be done. Through F&B’s deep network of colleagues and suppliers we were able to find an equivalent product, Aegis Microbial Induced Corrosion additive, through a Canadian Supplier, Protect Technologies Inc. The new product met Spec requirements and was brought in for the job without loosing any time on construction.
