Municipal Wastewater Treatment plants serve a vital role in our communities. A marvel of engineering, these plants direct sewage through a collection of concrete containment tanks where it undergoes a variety of physical, chemical, and biological processes to ensure that the water can be safely released back into the watershed. The plant in Galt alone processes 56.8 million litres of sewage per day. So to ensure the reliable upgrade of this facility, the municipality selected Maple Reinders to oversee construction. Contamination risk of the surrounding ecosystems pose the biggest risk in a project like this. That is why Maple Reinders turned to Form & Build to supply a wide variety of high-value product solutions. Over the years, Form & Build has demonstrated to Maple Reinders that the lines we carry consist of the most reliable, industry-leading manufacturers. This product offering, together with the level of customer service necessary to meet complex construction schedules, made Form & Build a valuable partner to ensure this project’s completion.
Form & Build supplied product solutions up-and-down the project’s specifications document.
Geosynthetic Clay Liners manufactured by Terrifix provided the erosion and sediment control specified in Division 2. Concrete sealers from W.R. Meadows, cementitious patching materials from Mapei, form release from Cresset, a variety of forming hardware from Dayton, and waterstops from Durajoint met the specified needs outlined in Divisions 3 and 4. Red Head A7+ – a fast-cure adhesive designed to securely anchor threaded rod and rebar to cured concrete – was
substituted for a competing product originally specified in Division 5. Finally, Dupont rigid insulation and Conseal joint sealant products fulfilled a variety of thermal protection and waterproofing needs as outlined in Division 7.
Form & Build is proud of the customer partnerships we build and take the trust placed in us very seriously.
